We started with a small farmette 20 years ago in Albion, NY.
Our family farm consisted of a cow, a couple of goats and a
few rabbits.  While our two children were in 4-H we raised
and showed six breeds of goats, Suffolk sheep, beef cows,
swine, and rabbits as well as mini-horses & full size horses for
riding.  Our boys had a great interest in animals and so do we
so we expanded into some exotics.  Wallaby's, a monkey, a
binturong, prairie dogs, ferrets, and even a few reptiles. YES,
we had a full house!  Then I got my first llama.  He was nothing
spectacular and certainly not show quality but I was hooked.
When the boys aged out of 4-H we thinned out the livestock.
I was ready to focus my attention on the llamas and alpaca's.
Since then we have developed a herd of quality llamas that we
love, show, and breed.  Much of our summer is spent traveling
with a group of youth all over the North East enjoying and
showing our llamas and meeting the wonderful people
associated with these beautiful creatures.
